Women in the Running

Here’s one email you might like to ADD to your inbox.  Every week, I’ve been getting an update from the Southeastern Institute for Women in Politics.  It profiles a woman running for office in South Carolina.

What kind of woman runs for office?  Well, Deborah Long for one.  She’s a candidate for the SC House of Representatives and the subject of the most recent email.  Long is an optometrist who says that women should ask “not ‘why me’ but ‘why not me’.”
