I’ll be at First Friday in downtown Raleigh.  Namely, the screening of FashionSPARK 2007.  That’s right – I said 2007.  FashionSPARK producers are screening last year’s lineup as a kickoff for this year’s SparkCon, coming up in September.  That’s all starting at Designbox around 7.

Afterwards, I’m heading over to Slim’s for a show to benefit Cy Rawls, a friend of a friend and a Raleigh legend who was recently diagnosed with a brain tumor.  Why not head to Slim’s (on Wilmington Street) and make your Friday night count?

The Visual Art Exchange gallery in City Market also has a great self-portrait exhibit this weekend(I got a sneak preview!).  And, Executive Director Sarah Powers may or may not be appearing in an upcoming issue of skirt!
