The ultimate decorating guide is coming!

I can't explain how excited I am about the dominio decorating guide coming out soon. I have already pre-ordered mine on Amazon.com. The editors take readers room by room, tapping the best ideas from domino magazine and culling insights from their own experiences. With an eye to making design accessible and exciting, this book demystifies the decorating process and provides the tools for making spaces that are personal, functional and fabulous.

I am a diligent subscriber to domino magazine and have binders of resouces from the magazine to show for it. Even though every few months I go through back issues and tear out my favorite pages for inspiration, I still cannot bring myself to throw the issues away. Someday, I know that I am going to need them in the midst of decorating my own home.

Its truly a dream of mine to have the capability (and the budget) to decorate my own home as a reflection of who I am. I don’t have dreams of big screen TVs or pool houses, but rather of art that I have gathered from my travels and furnishings that I have scoured for and painted myself. This sort of thing excites me, like any passion should. I think that i just need to cease being the master procrastinator that I have become and begin to put my theories into action.

 Maybe this book will be another step in getting me there.
