I have become addicted to checking my blog feeds everyday on Bloglines.com. Today I came across this inspiring video from an organization called The Girl Effect. It is so skirt! worthy!!!

This particular organization is a product of the Nike Foundation and its goal is to create opportunity for girls. The concept is that any girl is capable of raising the standard of living within her environment. The Girl Effect believes that girls are the most likely agents of change, but (in certain countries) they are often invisible to their societies and to our media. (One more reason to love skirt! because we promote women!)

Adolescent girls are capable of making a great impact, so invest in them! When they see that change is possible, they start to change the lives of people around them, their sisters and brothers, parents and beyond.
