Girls' Day!

I went to Girls’ Day today with JAGirl$ and PWC and talked to about 100 girls from the ages of 8 through 13. One of my favorite things is finding and interviewing our Girl Power girls--the girls we feature every month who are inspiring to other girls through their success and leadership and just being themselves.

I showed them a photo of what I looked like at 8 years old...pretty much exactly the same, except with way thicker eyebrows. Take a look, below. Mom and I are in Monterey, California, sitting on a rock after a day of beach combing. As you can tell by her coat, it gets kind of cold at the beach in Cali, hehe.

They also asked me what I wanted to be when I was 8 years old (a writer and an actress). Love you, Mom!
