This past Saturday, skirt! hit the streets of Raleigh for the 12th Annual Triangle Race for the Cure.  Walking down Hillsborough Street with tens of thousands of people, all united for one cause, gave me a real sense of community. 

To be quite honest, it’s been a while since I’ve felt as alive as I did Saturday.  Breast cancer knows no color, no sex, no age and no social status.  We’re all susceptible, and we all have a responsibility to do something, and to support each other.
