Hello friends! I am originally from a small town in Massachusetts and have been living in CT for over a year with my fiancé. A bit about me: I am a spirited and sassy 27 year old recently engaged vegetarian part time grad student dog loving aspiring writer who enjoys “good talks” and people...

Tagged by my twin Beth!

My soul-sister and blonde twin has tagged me! Thanks Beth! This is so exciting to be tagged. http://skirt.com/blog/7954

I feel like you guys know so much about me already, but I will try to be creative...

5 interesting and random things about me:

I auditioned to be on The Apprentice (California season) and didn’t get picked – I think that’s pretty obvious. Randy and I stood in line for a good three or four hours in the bitter cold. We met some interesting people though and ate Chinese food after, so that was fun.

I suffer from a bag disorder. I carry a purse, a gym bag, my work bag with endless books and papers and a water bottle – always with a water bottle. My great grandmother Betty Krepon lives on in me. She used to bring everything with her except the kitchen sink. I don’t steal sweet & low though.

I placed 3rd in the Miss Massachusetts pageant when I was 13. I even remember the phony commercial I had to perform. “Shhhh…I have a secret. Come closer…light and lively low-fat yogurt. It’s creamy and delicious and it’s light! Try yours today.”

I would love to work for a non-for profit organization that focuses on helping women and young girls. My dream would be to learn their stories and then publish a book about their experiences. Everyone’s voice deserves to be heard and there’s a lot of garbage (Oh, there goes my great grandmother coming through again!) there’s a lot of s$%& out there and it would be nice to read something worth reading. Something powerful.

I love the show “Friday Night Lights” and have a big crush on Coach Taylor (Kyle Chandler)

Sorry Randy, the Skirts already know that I can’t load a dishwasher properly and they wouldn’t be surprised to know that I talk to the television. Biggest Loser’s Vicky- yeah, she’s gotta go. She has terrible energy and is just a mean person

Now if you had been on the Apprentice, I would definitely have watched it! "Look honey, our favorite bag lady is on! Bring the popcorn!" heehee. My hubby's in Boston this week and I nearly tagged along just to meet you! "Trust Life's unfolding..."

Thanks! I think I would have been too "spiritual" for them. Blackberrys and closing deals just isn't my thing...I want to have a big Skirt tea party at Kims! There's so many things I want to publish...I'm in my own head and have to realize it's a process. I love learning about people too -it's one of the many reasons why we are connected (through a computer) much love and sass!

I so agree with you on Vicky needing the boot. I almost cried when Coleen was voted off this week. She was much more deserving to be there. I love Bob Harper, but I don't really like anyone on his team (especially Vicky and Heba). I used to like Amy, but she pushed the vote to Coleen, so she lost some points in my book. I really hope Michelle wins... she needs to feel good about herself and she seems like such a wonderful person. =)

When the two guys from Boston got voted off, I was disappointed because they both needed to be there. I was laughing hysterically when little T said, "I went on a fat loss show and gained weight!" I really want Phil and his wife...I can't remember her name but she has blonde hair and a southern accent...anyway, I want them to win the $100K...We were so disappointed in Amy that she let the peer pressure get to her. We were rooting for her and Coleen. We love Michelle and her mom - they both have such good energy and have been through so much with their relationship. I always feel funny talking about these people like I know them. Like we had lunch...but I get pulled in and become so passionate for them from our couch. I have NEVER liked Heba and we think her husband is a push-over doormat and she runs the show. And you're right, Bob's team sucks. Jillian reminds me of my younger sister Erika...they both are incredibly athletic and intense with it...although Jilliam is much more intense than my sister. We love Bob too. We just love the show and have since the beginning! Randy at one point in his life was 340 pounds (this was years ago) Since I met him, he has lost 86 pounds. He is now around 187/188. It's incredible and I am so proud of him. I guess I'm just drawn to people (and even tv shows) who take charge of their life and say "nope. this isn't working for me. i'm going to do my best to fix it and be the best version of me" type of a thing. Very inspiring.
