Got Your Pantsuit Ready?

South Carolina women who’ve put their names on the ballot are gathering in Columbia.

Can any of these women field dress a moose?  Well, you can ask them Wednesday evening.  

The Southeastern Institute for Women in Politics is hosting a reception to celebrate women from both parties who are running for office in our state.  The event is from 6-8pm at the First Citizens Bank lobby on Main Street, September 10.  For information and to RSVP, go here.

For me, what these women are doing seems much tougher than moose dressing (even though I imagine it’s risky out there in the field, trying to get a moose to put that dress on).  These women have got the gumption to run for office.
